And the environment...
The Toubkal massif is made up of granite and lava, giving it an impressive and imposing appearance. During the trek, we'll come across many walnut trees, junipers, yellow-billed chocards (cushions of yellow thorns), a few alyssons (pale pink flowers) and sablines (flowers with five white petals) and golden thistles, which only grow at altitudes of 2000m and above. You might even catch a glimpse of the bighorn sheep, or a variety of birds such as golden eagles, bearded vultures, griffon vultures and the rare pink-winged bullfinch.
